PHOTOTHERAPY TREATMENT OF NEONATAL JAUNDICE BY BLUE LIGHT EMISSION
A device for the treatment of neonatal jaundice (also known as icterus) through the emission of blue light. The innovative model similar to a pillow allows a much higher mobility of the newborn which is reflected in the significant increase of comfort, quality and effectiveness of the treatment.
For the first time, parents can have an active participation in the performance of neonatal jaundice treatment, which can be achieved in a portable and uninterrupted way. The small size of the device and its flexibility enables a better treatment, providing a more effective care and strengthen the maternal bond, without interfering with the normal routine of a newborn.
