5 SERNIS Innovations You May Have Missed At Intertraffic Amsterdam 2022

Intertraffic always has been our chosen time to introduce new products to the world and this year was no different. After 4 years, it was a pleasure to be back at Intertraffic. Even if you're not able to attend Intertraffic Amsterdam, you can explore our innovations. We are sharing with you 5 SERNIS innovations that you may have missed at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2022.

1. SMART SYSTEM FOR FOG WARNING

SR-SDSFOG is a system with vehicle detection and warning sensors specially developed for adverse weather conditions, such as fog, to help drivers identify the road borders and vehicles on the road (amber LEDs).

The system detects vehicles as they pass by, illuminating a red LED that will alert subsequent drivers that there is another vehicle in the vicinity.

2. FLEXIBLE BOLLARDS WITH LED

SR-CITY-BALI-TSL is a flexible bollard with solar light on top. This flexible luminous bollard is suitable to provide excellent illumination on public roads and pathways with low energy costs (using LEDs). It is ideal for lighting walkways, bike paths, pedestrian areas, and similar spaces.

3. ROAD STUDS

SR-i19 and SR-i25 are two new solar road studs that use microcontroller technology, have a low profile raising from surface (9 and 10mm respectively) and are ideal for road delineation, bends/curves, and crosswalks among others applications.

SR-i25 has stainless steal cap that makes it ready for snow plough machines (it can be used for traffic roads), flashing synchronization by GPS technology, silicone-free junction sealing technology that allows a better, faster and cleaner maintenance.

All SERNIS road studs have anti-Capillary Cable technology to prevent water ingress.

4. CROSSWALK ILLUMINATION SOLUTIONS

SR-CROSSLED-L is developed to be installed on both sides of the road between sidewalk and the crosswalk. It changes from red to green – according to the pedestrian crossing traffic lights -, alerting pedestrians if it is safe to cross the street or not.

SR-CROSSLED-S is developed to be installed in all the tops of the white cross lines creating a homogeneous illumination of the crosswalk.
The large lighted area has great visual impact, making it almost impossible for oncoming pedestrians and drivers to overlook them.

5. SMART PARKING SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES

Nominated to the the prestigious Intertraffic Award in the new category Green Globe, iMAPAV (Intelligent Management Parking of Autonomous Vehicles) is an on-street smart parking system that will be implemented in autonomous vehicles (AVs), allowing an AV to not only park itself, but find, reserve and pay for a parking spot in the city centre.
